  1. Asia Garrison

I consider this beginner book great for people who might need to learn French quickly; maybe for brief interactions, traveling, or just a brush up on the enounces of the language. It’s a pretty simple storyline, easy to follow, a glossary of the English terms, and comes with an mp3 audio to listen and follow along to.

  2. Roua Labbaoui

These stories are good. They are rich in vocabuary and the best part is the translated vocabulary list in the end of every page. Also, the audio book reciter has a very good and clear French accent. I highly recommend this book.

  3. Alina Draganescu

I liked this book because of the slow-down version of the stories and the grammar recap after each paragraph, it makes it manageable for a beginner like me.

  4. Patti Sharick

Learning French With Stories-Volume 3 is generally a good book for learning French. I like that the stories are short, not too overwhelming. I also like that words and phrases that are important to the story are listed separately and translated to English. I like that the stories relate to everyday occurrences you may encounter when traveling to France.
A suggestion would be to have a way to pause the story to review the vocabulary lists that appear throughout the story.
I also suggest changing story 11 to something different. It’s not a good idea to have a story not suitable for young people. I understand the author was trying to teach how to report a crime, but the type of crime should be changed. A robbery would be a better suggestion because it’s more likely the type of crime a traveler would encounter.
I had studied a little French before reading these stories, but the stories were a bit of a challenge. It would be a good idea to study some French with a class or an app before reading these stories.

    • Frederic

Hello there is a function to pause the audio in the ebook. Thx

  5. Melissa

Wonderful book. Next level learning. I recommend it.

  6. Ananya Bhowmick

I know very basic French, like few words, so wanted to take it from there to forming easy sentences. This book helped me in learning new words, phrases and forming short sentences. What is more suited to new learners like me is that the book comes with audio. Personally, I preferred listening to the slow speed audio as I am at the beginners’ level. I would say the book is great for self-learners and pretty easy to follow.
