I like the book. Please put up more like this. I would like if the stories were longer and also a version without the vocabulary breaking up the text. I would give it 3.5 out of 5.

  6. Sandra

This is a wonderful book to learn conversational French. With my French knowledge long faded, these stories helped me remember and learn lots of words, phrases and build my confidence in speaking in French again. It was super easy to follow the pdf version while listening to the audio. I liked that throughout the stories different words and phrases in bold were translated into English. Once I learned some, I could easily recognise those words in later stories, which amazingly helped me understand more and more sentences further along. As each story has two recordings of a slow and normal reading speed it is suitable for both, beginners and intermediate learners.

  7. Hugo Jesus Mendoza

At the beginning I wasn’t very sure about try to read a book in French ‘cuz I’ve never practice the language in my life. But this book is friendly to read, useful, well-written… a marvelous idea to encourage me to improve my French all as possible.

  8. Hanif K Wardhani

I have a long years gap learning French and found that this book helps me to remember vocabs, expressions, and conjunctions I have learned before. The dialogue format gives useful practical advice in speaking and the slow version audio is a big benefit. I was wondering if there is no vocab section that written separately in different page. Overall, It is a very good audiobook to go for learning French.

  9. Hana

  11. Jennifer Rodriguez

“Learn French with Stories (Vol1.)” it is a great book (with audio) to learn French. This books contains translations for each of the stories (15 stories), and it’s accompanied with an audio recording of each story in French. Personally, I found it useful to have both, writing and audio together since you can understand what the story is about and practice the pronunciation and grammar as well. The stories are simple, and include key words that will help you establish complete coherent sentences in French. The book is meant for you to read it more than once, so my recommendation is to be patient and try to understand one story at the time. I am recommending this book!

  12. Alan

Excellent audiobook, it’s great to listen vocabulary already known while learning new words through real life issues (in my case I would have liked to have listened the audiobook before my last trip to Paris, I would have avoided many problems hahaha). Highly recommended!

I enjoyed reading this book with my kids. I chose it because I am teaching my 3 kids how to speak French. My two girls learn better by hearing audios and my son learns better by reading. this book came with both and we all enjoyed it. It also helps you learn how the words sound and come with a slower version. Highly recommended for intermediate beginners.
