The following phrases will be useful no matter what kind of shopping you plan on doing:

     ❑ J’aime celui-là.(I like that one.)

     ❑ Merci, je ne fais que regarder.(No thank you, I’m just looking.)

     ❑ Il n’arrive pas à se décider à ce qu’il va acheter. (He can’t decide what to buy.)

     ❑ Combien?(How much?)

     ❑ Payons à la caisse. (Let’s pay at the cash register.)

J’ai du lait à la maison, mais je prends de la farine. Je ne connais pas les horaires d’ouverture du supermarché, mais il est toujours ouvert quand je fais mes courses.

Every Monday I go to the spermarket to do groceries. I buy bread, butter, vegetables, and fruit to make a cake. I also buy sugar and chocolate. I have milk at home, but I take flour. I don’t know the opening hours of the supermarket, but it’s always open when I go shopping.
