The TalkinFrench Community is here to foster a space where our learners can gain insights from and share their linguistic journey with fellow community enthusiasts. We appreciate everyone who contributes positively to this environment. Here are the expectations we uphold for all members:
Zero Tolerance for Intolerance: TalkinFrench vehemently opposes any kind of demeaning or illegal behavior towards others. This encompasses a broad range of negative actions including cyberbullying, cyber-harassment, hate speech, or threats based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, disability, or immigration status.
Maintain a Positive and Respectful Attitude! We have no room for any form of hostility or bullying. While we recognize disagreements can occur, disrespect towards others will not be tolerated. Posts that show disrespect towards our educators, the TalkinFrench team, or fellow learners will be removed.
Consequences for Violating Community Principles: In the event of a violation, we reserve the right to remove the offending content without prior notice or explanation. Individuals committing a first-time offense may receive a warning from us. A subsequent violation might incur another warning. If multiple violations occur in a short timeframe, such as within one month, we may impose more stringent measures. Breaching our Zero Tolerance for Intolerance policy is highly likely to lead to a permanent ban.
