Introducing: My French Routine Volume 1 for Complete Beginners
The first volume of My French Routine caters to complete beginners and contains a step-by-step guide and everything you need to learn French independently.

What this e-book is
It is a complete guide to learning French containing all the lessons a complete beginner needs
What this e-book is NOT
This is not a crash course to learning French. You will not become fluent in 30 days of lessons. Rather, you will be able to grasp basic French.
Short yet challenging lessons
This book is divided into twenty lessons and is designed for you to tackle a single lesson each day, five days a week, for four weeks. The lessons are short enough to remain interesting yet challenging enough to keep you on your toes, leaving you wanting more.
Each daily lesson includes the following
Practical and Effective Method
There are many resources available for learning French but what makes this book stand out from the rest is the method the whole book is based on. This book incorporates the most effective methodologies gleaned from years of actual hands-on teaching, combining lessons and exercises in the best possible way.
Strong Focus on Listening
The book comes with intuitive audio material designed to facilitate faster absorption of the topics. But unlike regular audiobooks on the market, the listening exercises are carefully integrated into the daily lessons and introduced at just the right moments.
You can listen to French conversations recorded by native speakers as well as practice your pronunciation with the vocabulary.
Create A Learning Habit
Building on the idea that French can be learned painlessly if you create a learning habit, this book fully puts into practice the approach introduced by leading French language website TalkinFrench.com.
The lessons are laid out in such a way that you will need to allot time each day for short lessons. By consistently learning from the book over a period of time, learners like you will be able to learn French much more efficiently than if you studied in a sporadic manner, regardless of how much time you spend on it.
Is this method for you?
If you…
are a beginner learner with little to no previous knowledge about the French language,
are someone who studied French before but needs to brush up on the language,
prefer learning French on your own and are tired of the incomplete materials available in the market,
… this book is specially crafted with you in mind.

Here’s What Our Customers Have to Say
“I’ve wanted to learn French for several years now, but didn’t know where to start or what to learn first. This book is great for that. It gives different steps to learn the language. I started to focus on the pronunciation and step-by-step I’m gaining more confidence at forming sentences. The book is full of information. The author claims each lesson should last 20 minutes (if I’m correct), but I tried doing all of the optional exercises and it took around 30-40 minutes. Very good value. I’ve already bought Volume 2.” - Gabriela
“Great teaching method. The audio embedded with the PDF makes practicing so much easier!” - Mike Scoot
“I find this book to be a great entry level french book for one trying to teach themselves. It does a fantastic job of showing pronunciation, which I think is the hardest part of picking French up, with the audio. There is also a strong sense verb conjugation. I would recommend this book to anyone just beginning to speak French.” - Mike

Great learning method. The audio is very useful. Love the fact that each chapter is broken down into days.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who doesn’t know French, but wants to learn it. The audio and exercises are challenging for me. It’s a slow process for me as I’m 67 years old and my memory is not what it used to be. I print the additional exercises since there is no print version of the book. I hope Frederic will provide a print version one day.

I’ve always wanted to learn French, but anything I’ve purchased is just daunting to get into. It starts you (a beginner) at a place that I feel is way more advanced than beginning stages. I found My French Routine and decided to give it a chance. I’m so glad I did!
I love the included audio files for reciting. I love that they’re short (and you can virtually use them at any time), but I wish they slowed down just a tiny bit more in between. I’ve noticed if I play it on my PC, I can slow the playback down which also helps to really listen to the way he’s pronouncing if you’re a stickler for nailing it! 🙂
The book is laid out in a ‘workbook’ way, where it’s very easy to keep your place, and very easy to forget that you’re learning, because it reads in a very flowy way. I love the formal and informal responses they share too.
I find that this book is very easy to review whenever (even after you’ve gotten through the entire thing once) it will be a great piece to keep for mini refreshers. I’m also in love with the flexibility offered for ipads, as that keeps this all extremely handy.
I feel confident that I can say hello, and have a short ‘how are you’ conversation in French now, which is more than I can say about all my previous French learning attempts!

I Loved the way the audio is integrated with the written lessons.

I recently decided to start learning French and a friend recommended me this book. The grammar and vocabulary are introduced in small chunks, making it easy for someone with no prior knowledge of French. Also, very good layout and quality of recordings.
Darren Voller –
I am a complete novice to the French language, but wanting to work in France I thought I should learn the language. I tried a few other books but found them complicated, this book is extremely easy to follow.
The sections are broken down in such a way that your not moving on to something completely different before you had a chance to learn the current. The vocabulary lists and recap boxes keep everything fresh in your mind as your going along. The mp3 guide is a great tool which helped me say things properly. Without this, I could have been saying everything completely wrong without knowing it. The audio speaker is slow and clear and the practice activities are helpful.
I would recommend this book to any other novices to the language such as myself.

I was never able to take a French class, I only ever tried to do a few games to learn some french words. The moment I started reading Week 1 Day 1 I felt so comfortable with it. I love that it breaks everything down into days and weeks for you. For me that helps my focus and schedule. The audio helped me pronounce words the proper way also. I highly recommend it.

Parfait! This book really helped me with building the habit to practice daily, I don’t think I would of retained as much without this book.

I love how this book is thoughtfully organized into short lessons each day, which are easy to follow and easy to remember. It is a very effective and appropriate method for beginners. It isn’t overwhelming at all and the audio helps me practice the pronunciation. After which, this makes me confident to say basic words and carry simple conversations. Awesome!
