I’ve always wanted to try food in Paris and this seems like the perfect guide. I found the short descriptions of each restaurant to be most helpful as they were very effective in portraying exactly what kind of restaurant each was with decor details, type of food served, which occasions it was appropriate for and even historical insight on the owners. It was also very informative of French restaurant etiquette, food and even culture. The author’s incisive yet understandable way of writing also takes note of people with personal preferences and dietary restrictions. I found it not only to be a useful read but a fascinating one.

  4. Justine Walp

Paris for Foodies is my favorite guide to eating in Paris. As someone who loves to travel, and loves food equally as much, I highly recommend buying this text – especially if you are planning to travel. What I love most about this text is the inclusion of price range per restaurant. Even when I travel, I like to stick to a budget so that I can enjoy more. This text makes it easy to compare various places while being sure to stay within a budget. Another wonderful thing is that the text includes the French words for each meal, which is very helpful if you are traveling to France with little knowledge of the language. In addition to the lengthy inclusion of standard restaurants, the author also includes gluten-free restaurants and vegetarian restaurants, as well as family-friendly and affordable places to eat. I absolutely love this text and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an all-inclusive guide to food in Paris.

  5. Iris

Paris for Foodies would be an amazing companion book for traveling. I can’t believe the amount of restaurants this book has categorized for the reader – including hours, address, if you should reserve a table, and approximate cost. I’ve practiced French in the past in anticipation of visiting Paris – and now that my food-lovin’ self knows where to get the best food in Paris too, I’m definitely planning my trip in the next year.

  6. Maryam Firoozi

Great! This book gives everything you need to do about eating in Paris. All the top restaurants are detailed. This book also explains Paris’s most important and beautiful spots. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to travel to Paris. It is even good for the residents of Paris to use it.
